RUDY

             Daniel E. Ruettiger, or Rudy, grew up in a small town where everybody knew everyone. This town was a steel mill town, most people who were born here, stayed here, and worked in the mill. However, Rudy didn't want to work in the steel mill, he wanted to be different. Rudy had always dreamed of what it would be like to play for Notre Dame. Nobody had ever thought Rudy would be able to do it, except Pete. When Pete dies in a freak accident at work, Rudy decides that he isn't going to listen to his family anymore, so he packs up his stuff and moves to South Bend. It takes Rudy two and a half years and some serious dedication, but he finally makes it into Notre Dame.
